Maruti Tuning Tips and Modifications

Maximise your Marutis driving pleasure

Maruti formerly Maruti Udyog Limited are one of the primary car makers in India. The cars are generally badged Suzuki in other parts of the work and have become very popular. There are lots of people modding Marutis out there and we shall cover the most popular models, namely the Ritz, A-Star,Swift,Wagon R, Zen, DZire, Kizashi and the SX4

The cars are relatively easy to work on and there are lots of performance parts around for them if you happen to live in a country where these models are particularly popular. The smaller models respond very well to tuning as it doesn’t take much of a power increase to be noticeable to the driver, in heavier models you will need to put more effort into your tuning projects to improve the performance but with determination and the right parts it is certainly possible.

Rover 100 tuning project by Talon Sportscars

Meet TorqueCars member Loz. He told us that he doesn’t “do normal”. This is something he’s proved time and time again.

His last car was a Smart City Coupe with a tuned Roadster engine in it. He read up on sports cars and track day cars and decided that weight reduction was a good thing.

He then started thinking about this, “What if I started with a small car to begin with?”
