Rover car tuning tips and advice. We have a wide range of tuning articles covering all models of Rover from small engined family cars to large engine hot hatches and executive cars. Following our tuning tips you will avoid many of the common mistakes and actually achieve the car setup you desire. Please join the forum for model specific questions and answers and to meet other owners and see what modifications they have done.

TorqueCars started providing Rover engine tuning tips, car modification and car performance pointers and suggestions back in 2003 and have grown from strength to strength with a fast growing membership of all types of cars including many, Rover owners. We are currently one of the fastest growing car tuning clubs around and certainly one of the friendliest. In 2007 we also organised our first full car show.

Our Rover tuning features with performance tips and information on peformance parts for your car get updated so for the hottest Rover engine tuning,modification and performance advice, tips and pointers please check back regularly. ake is the sort of guy that sees a big engine and buys it and then works out how to fit it to his car. Most people do things the other way round but let’s see if Jakes buy it and see what happens philosophy paid off.

He tells us that he’s pretty much always been into mechanics, “fixing and repairing… I picked up this Astra in August 2004 for a bargain price of £130 tax and tested. It was a 1981 mk1 Astra 1200s, in red (apparently), although in the trade it’s called “shit brick orange”. The car was solid, 32,000 miles on the clock, and 4 previous owners.
