Re-upholstering your car seats & dashboard.

Car interiors can look very boring when left standard, use our tips to create a perfect custom interior for your car.

Reupholstering your car will dramatically change it’s look, adding custom dials, dashboards and door cards will complete the custom interior. We look at custom seats and interior parts suggesting the best route for your custom interior mods.

Dashboard styling, guages and digital dashboards

Never overlook the interior of the car. You will spend much time looking at the dashboard of the car and you certainly don’t have to stick with the standard plastic, and dials that come with the car.

Often people concentrate on what others see outside the car but this often generates an anticlimax or disappointment when they start looking inside the car.

Plastic painting tips for car interior and exterior.

Personalising the interior of the car is for many the first thing they do. Although aftermarket interior modification parts look nice a custom look is within reach if you are prepared to put in a little effort and paint the interior yourself.

Preparation is the most important part in any paint work. Whatever is between the part and the paint (i.e. chips, scratches, grease etc.) will show through the layers of paint.

Tailored fitted custom and off the shelf car mats.

This must be one of the most popular interior modifications that is made to a car. Fitting is a very simple process and there is a wide selection of car mats to choose from.

Tailored mats are cut to shape from the factory and will fit the foot well precisely and if the car has pegs to secure the mat this will also be accounted for in the tailored mat design. Not all cars have tailored mats available and older cars in particular will have to put up with off the shelf mats. The off the shelf mats are typically smaller and often have to be cut to fit the shape of the footwell. The cut to shape ones have rubberised edges with grooves to cut along which helps you to get a fairly professional finish.
