I have decided to scrap the a4 diesel idea and keep my a3 1.8t 260bhp. But lpg convert it, I here you can get 300miles out of £25 and not lose to much power.

Thanks, I used that link and vagcom is working properly now. Am I right in saying you can pay to get extended versions with more stuff. I am using 409.1. also I have OBD-diag installed on my computer seems to have it all, and looks quite user friendly, but can’t get that working either.

So I have put the car back together, and had a little fiddle with actuator adjustor and have managed to get the boost up, the power is a bit lumpy and random. Are there any dose and donts to adjusting the wastgate actuators on these things?

Ok so I have done some tinkering I disconnected the actuator to n75 hose and used a zip tie to keep the Wastgate closed. The pressure went to 1.6 bar and held. So im guessing either my n75 or my actuator that if faulty. A am not running it with the longest nipple plugged into the tip, would...

I was more worried about why their is air pressure in my sump. Hoping it’s not the piston rings.

So I have done a boost pressure test and have fixed all the leaks. However I have found i am getting a small amount of air through the dip stick. I'm pretty sure what you are all going to say but what do you think is causing this?

Does anyone know of a good clutch kit for a 1.8t Quattro 6 speed? will be running near 300bhp. I am thinking of getting one with a lightened fly wheel, will this really make much of a difference?

I have just found the fuel injectors (06a906031) fpr and maf wat woud happen. If I fitted them and drove to the remap 150 miles.

Does anyone kno if fuel injectors 05a906031 would be what I need to take my ko3-s hybrid to 280bhp?

still having troble finding the injectors i need. evry serapyard i have tried cant help me. any ideas? do i need fuel rail aswell?

The company is univercil turbo's, they are replacing the unit under warranty and would upgrade it (and id pay the difference) but they dont have the gtrs. All the ones they have require a manafold downpipe etc. so its back to my 280 bhp idea, still quick i supose. Any ideas of the 0-60 time to...

If I did the got the gret turbo, and a manfold of eBay, had a downpipe made by exhaust companie. And did all the intake and intercooler pipeing. Would it run ok untill I Can aford the fueling stuff and the remap?

na it cant be fixed its smashed to bits, was doin 110mph when it ran out duno wat speed i actualy hit the deer but there wasnt much left. im just shocked and soooo glad that it didnt to more damage.

Yea, I've got it and it is back to front. I am scratching my head to try and figure out why it would be the exact mirror image of what it should be.

Just bought a turbo manifold of eBay for my car (a3 Quattro 180) the problem is that the flange for the turbo is slightly to the left when looking from above, the standard one is slightly to the right. Anyone know why this is? And what I should do?

Is it possible to get old tired stainless steel exhaust back to the shine it used to have... sanding? Polishing? Has anyone done this? Mine has a tired patchy golden brown colour with slight surface rust.

My mate has just bought an A3 1.6 8l, the remote central has stopped working. The central locking works with the key, and when u press and hold the button the windows still go up/down any ideas? I haven’t got a clue were to start looking for problems! :confused:
