Price of car = amount of road

It would seem to me that the more money someone spends on a car the more road they feel entitled to use up.

The amount of 08 and 09 plated prestige cars that cut over to the other side of the road and just push through when they havent got right of way is just plain annoying.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I know exactly what you mean! funnily enough, in Central London most of these so called prestige cars that you see, have Taxi badges on the windows, and 9 times out of 10 they are only leased cars anyway!
so why the attitude? :amazed:

I agree , it seems that if somebody has a three pointed star on the front of their car they feel that traffic should part to allow them to pass un-hindered, kinda like a car version of the moses red sea thing! if what your car costs dictates the amount of road u can have, then us modders deserve empty roads where-ever we go, lifes a bitch,eh?

no attitude of driver determines space on the road not the price of the car!
i am the perfect example my leon isnt expensive or prestigious but if its my right of way i dont care if its a police car, bentley, bus and so on im going and if they try and intimidate me i dont care i know im insured so i just push through and make them move! only 1 time in the last 14 years have i sh!t it and swerved but that idiot pulled into a car park so i turned round and had words

I can't say I've noticed this particular phenomenon. I've seen people abusing their right and privileges on the road in Corsas, Clios and KaKs.

It's a mental agility thing. The slower the driver's mind works the bigger the driver thinks the car is.

ill agree its the prestige brands that take up alot of the road ad push their way through. but if its my right of way and they could have stopped then im going through

as mentioned above, if its my right of way then watch out, i wont stop. (although doing this in Vietnam is much more interesting as that really is a monumental game of chicken - especially with taxis who are too used to driving motorbikes and drive cars in the same way, they dont look far ahead and so often the inevitable happens).

I too think it is down to the driver rather than the car but perhaps certain types of people buy certain types of car and this reinforces the stereotype. :D

When I had my escort I used to give a little swerve onto there side of the road. Tell you what, it worked. They see a banged up escort coming towards there new X5 they move right over!
