Piston advice

Hi there guys i have an audi a3 1.8t...it has an aftermarket turbo setup...a t3/t4 turbo with a gotech management...i jus redid the whole motor ...but i bought cheaper pistons...im going to run 1 bar boost will that damage the piston????

Turbos produce lots of heat - the higher the boost the hotter it will run.

Cheap pistons wouldnt have been my choice with a turbo but it the quality that counts not how much they cost.

Just make sure the map is spot on.

thanks man...do you know of sm pistons?? they are from germany? i used those...so you saying if the map is perfect it would run good??
