hello, is there any one with an auto GTO?
having loads of probs with gearbox, its stuck in limp mode
no garage can get a reading. got new TCU, still limping home

Have a read of the GTO forum, i have written up enough stuff to show you how to download any fault codes.
I would suggest that the garage you have used to find the fault codes may not really know what they are doing with your motor.

yes i have an auto,i had major problems with my gearbox,
so i bit the bullet and got a recon gearbox,(1992)
if its in limp mode wont it be the ecu????

Limp mode is 3rd and reverse. If the TCU fails it DOES go into limp mode.
I'm not saying that in this case it is the TCU, just correcting your statement.

did you read my post about putting a turbo on an auto???
having second thoughts,might just get a tt
