Driving in the rain

Does anyone enjoy driving in the rain?

Personally I hate it, you can't see anything at the best of times when it is torrential and your grip is substantially reduced. The other idiots on the road are what worry me the most, I've seen some pretty shocking driving from driving too close to putting on fog lights in the rain! NO!

What about you? Does driving in the rain float your boat?

I think the argument against (front) fog lighting in the rain is a bit a a weak one. Front fogs create a low wide spread of light which is less dazzling to oncoming drivers than even the best aligned dipped beam. Discharge lamps are worse still if the self levelling isn't working perfectly.

Rain can make roads can be super slippery after extended dry periods I agree. Sadly we all have to drive in sub-ideal conditions at times. Comes with the territory in Britain anyway
