hey, i have cleaned all my wheel sensors but the light still comes on intermittently. However on my VAGCOM now i get the warning message "too many communication errors" when i try reading the faults in the ABS channel? Any ideas anybody?

Thanks, I tested it again today and got more sensible readings. I think my MAF has an intermittent fault, v annoying. Thanks for the info. Rich

Hi, I read somewhere it is possible to calaculate the bhp of you engine using the VAGCOM measuring blocks using group 2 if i'm correct, so i tried it out.. the b/s value however is 236.00 g/s at idle speed of 800rpm....not too sure it should be reading this high as the calc is to divide the...

hi, i changed the temp sensors and now the irratic idleing has gone. I did find two splits in the pipes as expected, small bodge for now with some electrical tape has sorted out the running issues. Cheers for all your help Rich

Cheers pgarner. The temp rises to 90 only in traffic then falls once on the move. I get under "instruments" on my VAG COM, the fault: code 01039 - coolant temperature sensor (G2) 30-10 open or short to B+ - intermitent. Does this narrow it down to the temp sendor needs replacing?

Hi Waynne, i've experienced the same beeping, it seemed to be related when i combine quickly starting the car and popping into reverse. It beeps about 3-4 times. Didn't seem to neccessarily be related to cold weather. Sorry couldn' be of more help. It doesn't seem to be too much an issue. Cheers
