Hello. I am from The Bahamas. I have a 1998 Mitsubishi FTO GR. There are very few FTOs here a generous estimation would be 10-13 I only know of 4 that's including my own. I really like the car but mine is some what of a project. I needed a few body parts like passenger side mirror, left fog light and front bumper maybe not really sure if this one can be repaired and I bent my valves. Some people are telling me it can be fixed other are saying just replace the engine. I've been told that the galant v6 might work. Is this true and would the car preform the same.

Hello there and a warm welcome to TorqueCars, nice to meet you.

The Galant V6 engine is pretty heavy and will compromise the handling. Why not get an older Lancer Evo engine and go for a massive power hike?

You could always get parts imported from Japan or even the UK.
