Hey guys , my names shane , i come from the south coast of the UK not far from Portsmouth , i own a 1996 MK3 Golf 1.4 , Seeing as i recently got layed off from my job the mods are on hold for now but as soon as i can , cars getting lowered on coilovers and all four wheels spaced out with 20mm spacers and a load of smoothing and tidying , im into the whole smooth euro look.

Any idea's of mods to be done to a 1.4 would be appreciated that way ive got some ideas for when work starts rolling my way again

well ive got my ideas for the body side of things sorted so small performance mods that dont mean loads of work seeing as its only a 1.4

TBH there ain't that much to do with a 1.4 with regards performance unless you have a large wallet.
Adding a bodykit will loose performance more than likely due to the extra weight.

thats fair enough, got the car cheap and it doesnt drink through fuel which is a good thing for me at the moment so doesnt matter too much and body kits arnt my thing

The smooth euro look works so well on the Mk3's.

yeah i was looking into 1.8t lumps the other day and its been done quite a few times in mk3's so its a good possibility
