So many i see on my travels seem to have developed bad habits that almost certainly would have made them fail the test like.
Steering single handed.
Arm holding roof on or door closed not only dangerous but illegal.
Failing to indicate intentions IN ADVANCE and not at the same instant you swing the wheel IF you bother to indicate at all.
Sitting way too far away from the wheel looking cool.
Having the radio blasting away and grooving to the music.
Not doing mirror and shoulder checks before changing lanes.
Hitting the gas to get up to speed when they see the sign way in the distance.
Flying past the reduced speed sign before braking/slowing.
Tailgating and not following the 2 second rule.
Driving with headphones.
Texting/talking on phone driving or stopped in traffic.
Failing to indicate when leaving the kerb and pulling out into traffic.
Driving is a serious business and needs to be taken seriously but IMO many of us out there have grown complacent and really need to have a good hard think about the safety of themselves and others when out on the roads.
