Which is the best engine to put on my Focus1.6 zetec?

Hi im from Greece-Corfu and i whant to make my focus very fast for racing.Which are the best engines(for tuning) to put on my focus?

I have about 20.000 euros and its for circuit racing.I am a mechanik but i don t know which motor fits an which is the best for tuning...

If you can find someone to make engine and gearbox mounts then just about any engine will fit. How about a 2 litre 16v out of the focus? Or if you could source 1 how about the engine out of an Rs?

I would imagine the 2 litre would fit straight in but you would still need to upgrade the engine and gearbox mounts to cope with the extra power.....

If you are going to tune your existing engine I would suggest getting head work done. Like porting, polishing, gas flowing etc. I would go the route of ITB's or Individual Throttle bodies instead of a supercharger. Thats my opinion anyway. I think ITB's would work better for what you want to use it for.. Remember if your upping the power to upgrade the suspension and brakes...
