Tyre softener - good or bad?

Seen this stuff?

Grip Tyre Softener.
Is it good or bad? Any one with any experience. I imagine it will quickly kill your tyres but guess that is what happens anyway on the strip!

Never used it. The strip is coated in a "glue" type stuff to help traction and after a quick burnout your tyres are soft and sticky to the touch anyway. Can't really see the point.

Could be wrong though it may be good stuff.

This piece has nothing to work unless you want your car to get stuck on a sunny day especially in the hot regions!
