Does anyone really believe all their jolly japes are completely spontaneous and real?

I mean I like watching it and I laugh along with everyone else but I really don't think they slept in tents next to the river Kwai or somehow don't notice the thunderous noise as the tent is raised.

I am stunned that some people are actually surprised by the news :amazed:

It is just TV entertainment pure and simple and thus it is left open to have some creative tinkering to add to the programme to make it more exciting, dramatic, awe inspiring, you get the idea! It does not and will never bother me in the slightest what the producers get up to behind the scenes, as long as the show continues to put a smile on my face and make me chuckle then I'm happy

I know for fact Top Gear stages things.

M.A.Developments entered 4 cars in the Escort Cosworth shootout the winner was to race VBH in here P1 Scoob.
The Cossies actually raced & our MAD came 1st, 2nd & 4th (see on Clarkson 'Full Throttle' vid)

The race against the P1 never happened it was staged as a dead heat. Good TV I suppose with no loser but a total fake.
