Supercharger for Volvo 240 - suggestions please

I trial the car and need more low down power as I am unable to keep the wheels spinning even in second gear on the hills.
A supercharger seems like a sensible way forward. Has anyone any idea which type of supercharger will fit a 1987 Volvo 2.3litre naturally aspirated engine and where I would get one.
Any suggestions/ information appreciated.

How about a turbocharger. The 740/760 were both available with a 2316cc turbocharged engine.

Glaymore was rating the mini superchargers which I believe were Eaton and they are cropping up on ebay and all over the place. If your car has aircon this would be the logical sacrifice to make swapping it with the supercharger.
