steering wheel advice

can any one tell me please if the mk4 golf gti steering wheel would fit my mk3 golf gti?
any help will be much appreciated

The pins for the airbags are usually the same but I would say that is your biggest problem.

You will need to drill a few holes and round out another hole to get a mk4 wheel to fit so it is a bit of a hassle to get the airbag working. You could take out the clock spring altogether and mill the hub down a bit to get a MK4 wheel on but I don't know if the horn would work if you did this.

The Steering wheel from the 3.5 softop fits and is from what I can make out a straight bolt on replacement.
