SRS light on

After having starting probs (previous thread)
the air bag warning light stays on anyone no how to over ride it or do I have to take it to Mitsubishi
It does happen apparently when battery off for few days (woz 4) seems a pain to have to spend £40 at Mitsi for a two second reset job.
Air bags fine all connections etc

does your fault code reder allow you to reset the fault codes ? this may be enough to fix it

Nope! nothing shows on it.I've done a bit of digging on FTO club it is a common problem if battery disconnected for a while,
jus wondering if anyone knew a work around!

pull the bulb if you are not bothered by it just means wont fire if you want it to work try inpluging the control unit and checking it

A local garage might be able to reset it more cheaply than the main stealers.

Twos the ECU! suddenly remembered coming up for a couple of years ago wifey was sandwiched on the mway and the bags didn't deploy
I guess it was on its way out and the battery being off for a week, it gave up the ghost!

So it no longer resides in the car seeing as I want a new steering wheel what better excuse!
