polo 6n engine change ?

hey well lookin for some cheap ish at the mo it a 1lt got brakes lined up and will be doin the work my self and a friend will help want some thin easy ish lol not sure with insurance cant remember lol any ideas cheers sam

as yours is a 1.0 to start with you wont be able to lob in anything above a 1.4 without some fab on the drivers engine mount.

1.4 16v is a nippy lump in a polo, and all the bits are direct fit including wiring etc.

well then the choices are endless dependant on your skill/confidence levels.

keeping things relatively simple, an ABF (mk3 golf 2.0 16v) engine is probably a good bet. 150bhp as standard. not sure on wiring side of things, but everything else should be easy enought ot fit once mount has been flipped to accept big block engines.
