Wynns makes a cerium based additive which is very very good indeed at clearing these. What it effectively does is lower the combustion temperature of the accumulated soot.
This was the operating principle of my 2002 Peugeot 406 - the additive administered automatically, by the car, when fuel was added to the tank.
Later systems such as yours are 'passive'. Sadly it seems that the earlier systems, with a £80 additive refill every 50,000 miles or so are actually cheaper to operate because the DPFs never block.
Driving in 3rd at 50mph for 20 minutes or so should be sufficient to clear it provided it's not totally clogged.
