Newbie - with questions

Hi, I have a late 2004 Accord 2.4 iVTEC Executive, had it since 2006.

I am starting to maintain it myself as Honda dealers are very expensive e.g. replaced rear discs and pads myself but got the parts from the dealer !

Where is the best place to get parts ?

Also, the 2.4 engine seems to me to be just a bigger version of the one in the Civic Type R, but the 2.4 only revs to 7k rpm. Can it be remapped to 8k ?

Howdo. I think they are quite different engines but check wikipedia, that actually often has lots of details like engine specs and codes on it.

Hi Yugguy, a very good idea, which I have done :idea:

The engine in my car is a K24 and since 2001 the Civic has a K20, so its possible that they are more-or-less the same.
