Wrench Pro
Hi guys,
I'm the new guy on the block. I just found this site and was really pleased with the info it presented.
About me; I am a 66yr old, 22yr old. I love cars, boats, and bikes, basically anything fast enough to do something stupid with. But, I never do stupid around other people or vehicles or uncontrolled venues. That's probably because I'm OLD. Smarter seems to come with age.
I have owned and restored several cars over the years, mostly Chrysler products but I have reached a point in my life that I no longer turn a wrench. Now I do body work, fiberglass and paint. No more busted knuckles or strained back.
Because of the high cost of classic cars and American hp, I now do front engine Porsches. I can pull equal or more performance, and handling out of the car for 1/3 to1/2 the price.
At the moment I am having a 2.5ltr 944 Porsche built that will be pushing 400hp and have a power to weight ratio of 6lbs per hp. It should be pretty quick. We'll see.
Thanks for your time.
