Hi all,

As the name suggests I'm CJ and I'm in Thailand. I am currently in the process of buying a 2013 Nissan Almera E with the M/T. from the factory we're getting the skirt and spoiler option. Total price is 467,000 THB which is approximately $16,100 USD. I'm originally from the states and have had worthwhile cars for tuning in the past. Toyota MR2 1989 NA -> SC conversion and Toyota Supra 1992 NA...never got to do much with the Supra but had no end of troubles. Engine blows and the like. First venture into the world of Nissan and looking forward to hearing about anybody else's tuning of this car. I read the article about it, which is how I found this forum. I want to do it right, because although there isn't a racing scene here worth mentioning...I do enjoy the idea of a sleeper that's really fast. Look forward to interacting with you guys as I embark on the tuning road. First mod will be wheels and tires. Looking at 17" rims wrapped in 225 45 17 Kumho Ecsta's if I can get it. Living in Thailand is rough. If not I might go with Nitto or Maxxis as they are easy to come by.

Nice meeting y'all.

CJ

Greetings and a Warm Welcome to our TorqueCars Forum my Friend :)

Please feel free to have a look around the website, there are many varied and interesting articles to read on all manner of car modifying subjects.

Also, you may find our members project threads and photo gallery very useful as a source of inspiration towards your own very special project!

Good luck to you & I hope you enjoy the forum! :)

Hi there, I hope you are well. May I wish you a warm welcome to TorqueCars, it is a pleasure to meet you.

You'll find us a pretty friendly bunch and I'm sure you'll start to love and enjoy the forums as much as we all do. (It gets quite addictive at times.)

Feel free to get involved in our other threads, all opinions are welcome and as they say "the more the merrier"! (It's also great when people start new threads and discussions and all adds to the great debate.)

Keep us up to date with your project as well, we like to see what people are getting up to with their cars.

Thanks again for that. I've made my first post in the Nissan/Infiniti Forums, looking for fellow Almera owners. There is a club I'm aware of in Thailand for this car, but seen as how my ability to speak Thai is only 50% and I can't write, it's difficult to know. *sigh* I'm just lookin for a good catback-exhaust system and air induction system that can ship here.

So far everybody seems to be nice, and I'm having a good read on all of the different things that go into tuning. It's been awhile since I've been in the scene, so I'm looking to work my way back into it.
