Just brought a new car to replace my royal pain of a Mondeo zetec s.
I have entered diesel world with a Vauxhall Insignia se cdti 160.
Two firsts there a Vauxhall and a Diesel.
The mondeo was never a worthy replacement for my old
ST24 but never mind on to something new.

The engines are Fiat/Alfa derived so no need to fret about the V badge

Safe remap to 190bhp too.

Insignias are not exciting but I've driven a few and found them easy to drive and very comfy.

Not fretting mate loving it you were right all along the mid range grunt is fantastic even with the standard 158ish bhp.

Hi mate yes very comfy but yes not going to set the world on fire for excitement.
Can,t remap for about a year as its still under warranty.
But after that without a doubt.
For now will enjoy the extra miles per gallon!!

What year is it?
If the i is black on the cdti badge on the back then it's 165 bhp. But that's if it's a newish version.

At the very least the carpets stay dry when it rains.
