mitsubishi gto location of ecu

hi can some 1tell me were to find the ecu on a mitsubishi gto 1992 as i have 1 and been told i need to change the capacitors as there are cheap ones fitted. can some 1 tell me how i would know if they have been changed.:sad2:

You should really leave your ecu to a technician. Unless you are an electrician....But have a look at this place.. These boys will be able to sort you out. You post them the ecu they rebuild it and post it back...How good is that. http://www.the-ecu-doctor.co.uk/

If it's not under the bonnet its under the dashboard buddy. do you know what it looks like?

Right i've done abit of digging for you and I think you'll find the Ecu Behind the stereo at the bottom of the centre console... Hope this helps buddy

hi thanks very much yes found it at the back of the stereo .just that i need to send it off to have those cheap capacitors changed as ive heard they leak and blow the ecu.

I've read that too. It can be fixed if this happens but it is a pain...
