How much for a good car

How much do you need to spend on a good car. Am I right in thinking there is always something around for a little more.

I was thinking £2000 was a good budget but it seems that for another £500 there is a lot more on offer. I bet though that when I get to £2500 I will just start looking at more expensive cars.

Generally yes, but it's always worth looking for the bargain where the widow is selling it cheaply as the money is going to the mistress

for a bit more you can let yourself open to more options. cheaper cars generally have higher milage - although this isnt as bad as it used to be. however the age means other parts may be starting to show wear and tear

There does always seem to be something just outside your budget but SET A BUDGET and stick to it. There are often bargains to be had and feel free to haggle the more expensive cars into your budget.
