I live in Notts, and I've not long purchased a 2009 Skoda Octavia vRS Limited edition hatchback, with the 2L TDi engine.

Current plans are to keep it stock for 3 years (warrenty...) then I'm looking at weight reduction (CFRP bonnet for starters) and an economy remap.

Aiming for better fuel economy (more MPG) rather than simply more power/torque.

Of course, I won't complain if I get both :bigsmile:

Same with leaving my spare wheel behind on short journeys - unlikely to need it, and for some reason it comes with a full-size steel rather than a space saver as initially specified.

Just never heard of a Economy Remap thats all buddy. :blink:

Hi, economy remap on most diesel's give approx 30bhp and 60nm more.
and power remap's from30-50bhp and 70/80 nm torque.
advantage with eco map is up to 20% better fuel economy
