Hi, I'm currently driving a '95 Ford Escort 1.6 Si with various mods and more planned when money allows.

I really want some uprated brakes but no idea what to get. Same with performance no idea what to do to it but would really appreciate a power boost.

As for the visuals, I'm aiming for the look of a GTi with a few subtle improvements (the 16" 5 spokes as opposed to the 15"s on an actual GTi etc)

Any help/comments would be much appreciated :bigsmile:

A set of RS turbo brakes should do nicely for you. Welcome to TorqueCars, nice to have you with us.

As far as power mods go have you thought about an engine swap? Rather than spend little bits here and there doing up the engine it would be better to save that and go for a bigger engine either an rs2000 or RS Turbo block.

Rs 2000 engine brakes and suspension.

Don't use the Rs Turbo brake setup as IIRC they use drums on the back. The better upgrade would be disks all round.

hey and welcome to the site.
what about looking towards a focus or mondeo for brakes. might need custom carriers and discs however.
