I thought I should probably introduce myself even though I have been posting a little already.

I'm Shell, 36 and live just outside Portsmouth - Mother of three and recently became a grandmother to boot

Bit of an adrenalin junky and love all things that go fast. I have always owned fast cars and then added bikes to my list of toys.

Job wise I am lucky enough to work for myself in a mixture of Marketing and Web Development. I run a Motocross website with my hubby and MX Forum as well as sell Motorbike tours in Guatemala - on the marketing side I specialise in IT and am a bit of a tech geek :embarrest:

Current cars are Mitsubishi GTO TT (in storage at the mo) Audi A4 Estate 1.8 T Sport (sensible car) Aprilia 650... and currently looking for a Yamaha YZ 125 for my mad american husband who rides MX

My wish list of cars is way too long but my all time favourite is the BMW 850

So thats me really... looking forward to get to know you all

Ok we know about the GTO, but what about the A4 ?

The A4 is just my daily sensible car..

I needed an estate so I could two the bike trailer and have plenty of room for the MX kit bags and essentials needed for a day at the track - as well as the dogs.

I looked at several before choosing the Audi - Volvo T5 was looking good for a while but I just felt too much like an old woman in it!

its only a 1.8 but the turbo gives it a bit more and being the sport version has better suspension and also the whole interior is much nicer. To be honest I don't really feel like I am driving an Estate which is great! fuel consumption is good also and if I drive it sensibly I can easily do 35 mpg which I am not at all used to

I haven't done any mods to it...yet! I may stick a new set of wheels on it at some point but for the moment she is a good sturdy reliable work horse and for my first Audi I'm really quite impressed

Hi and a warm welcome to TorqueCars. Glad you like it here - were not a bad bunch and although we moan about tax and the state of the roads we have lots of good advice to offer!

A remap on the A4 would put a big smile on your face.
