Electric fault

    Hi my son tried to fit a cigarette lighter to his car removed centre dash managed too short out the wires and blow the 30 amp fuse. Have replaced fuse but it would not start no battery light on display etc played about with wires under dash and lights are back but no power too starter when key is turned.
    Has he damaged a relay or in pulling out centre dash managed to unplug some conections :confused:

    hard to say exactly. is there any fuses under the bonnet? might be one of them thats blown
