E46 328i - Wants to feed more cold air to my induction filter

Hi i have just fitted a K&N 571i air filter but when the engine gets warm im not getting much cold air to the filter, so i was thinking of feeding a cold air supply via some 3" pipe but where is the best place to get the cold air from ie front grill, bumper, etc??????

some where that the pressure is great. so as youve said front bumper or foglight area

Have a look on the Demon Tweeks website, I am going there next week to buy a kit for the Beast. They do lots of different pipework, ducting and scoops for any car!

BMW's original designs are already very good but if you really want to stick with the K&N then you'll need a proper heatshield. Really dangerous place to visit, spent a fortune last time I went there.
