A friend of a friend has one of these with a suspected snapped timing chain.
Are these prone to bending the Valves etc etc when the chain snaps. The cars a 52 reg with only 29,000 miles and in mint condition.
How hard is it to change the chain.

Not having had much to do with these, but a little reading tells me the timing chains are quite troublesome and seem to go regularly.

Couldn't seem to find a definitive answer to the valves question, but I would expect so going by what I did read.

Couldn't hurt to check, and check the cams are ok too.
