chipping a 1999 1.5ils vtec

Hello all, was wondering if any of you could help me find a company to chip my civic, im not botherd about a reproggramable chip, but would like a decent power/torque gain, many thanks rob.

What, in your opinion, would be considered a "decent power/torque gain"?

as much power/ torque as i can get for my budget of around £300 mark???, i ve herd about chips costing nearly double that and not very happy customers!! lol, hpe you can help, thanks

I had a Unichip fitted to my Swift.

That was on a 1.3 with intake and exhaust mods. I supplied the unit, fitting and mapping was £280 @ TDI in Essex.

You should have an overall power figure to aim for...

Have you looked into a VTEC controller - move the kick in point down the rev range a little?

Have you looked at Hondata.com (although not sure who distributes for them in the UK but i'm sure i've seen them advertising in Banzai)?

Thanks guys , yeh ive looked at hondata nd they look promising, but i dnt want to have to get my ecu sent away for a couple of days to have to work completed , unichip il give them a call, esex is bit far, im in Reading, but il give them a call and see what they might be able to arrange, thanks again guys , but if ther is any other options or ideas you stumble across i would appreciate it if ya could let me know thanks.
