Car seat covers do they help

Do beaded car seat covers, or massage covers actually do much? I see them in lots of cars but they look pretty uncomfortable to me.

I had some years ago, i remember they were comfortable but the real bonus was they were much cooler than a regular seat in the summer, Back when we used to have long hot summers

Which was when A/C was only available as an option on high end model derivatives anyway.

Are we talking about them beed things? Never used one. Although, I remember when I was little, my old man had one and I think he hated it? As I was getting in the car one day I asked him why he had it, said, ''dont know'' ripped it out and got in. I think it came free with the car and he could never be arsed taking it out!!!

My dad uses one and it helps him. But it does drive a Sprinter all day long.
