Hello and welcome. Unfortunately you can't just crank up your boost without the fuelling to match. You will need a proper re-map from a reputable tuner. Generally speaking though, yes turning up the boost will give you more power and torque to a limit.

MAs right and the ECU wont allow you to turn up the boost much more than 1 psi without going into limp mode.
150 engine standard boost is around 7 psi
180 engine standard boost around 10 psi
