Hey guys, last year I bought a 2003 2.0HDi 206 and had it remapped from standard(90bhp) to (125bhp). There was noticable gains through the gears but it only pushed 115mph, sometimes 120mph (It did 110 before remap).
Now, here is why I was baffled, I know another guy who has the exact same car, only a year older (2002) and his is hitting 130mph... his is remapped to 130bhp. Out of say 5 brake how can there be such a difference? I heard things like, get the car derestricted and get a new air filter, "being a year younger your car uses a different throttle system"(Sensors as opposed to a cable?) blah blah blah, atm, my car will do 110mph... could someone gives me any ideas and answers on any of this please.
