Are Toyota Levins BZR any good??? mite buy one soon

Im going to buy a 180sx has anyone got any tips of what to look at? Running costs? Servicing? How much BHP etc? All suggestions welcome cheers

I might want to ubdertake a project car for example a niisan micra with a pulsar engine in it, has anyone got anyother ideas or list of engines that will go into cars? My budget is about €10000 at the moment but will grow in time. Cheers

ha, dont want that to happen:) My Levin BZR engine blew on me last year:( poxy garage never fixed anything right on it so im taking them to court

How are you ,ate? First of all dont bother with an induction kit it doesnt give you any extra bhp just sounds better, try putting on a full sports exhaust this should help with bhp gains and remove any extra weight such as air con etc. Other cars you should consider are the Lotus Elise or Nissan...

good point what do you think would be best for big bhp gains?

what would be the best lightweight wheels and tyres to put on her?

My mate done a 2.2 prelude type s engine swap in his SIR, took him about 3 months to do one hell of a job to complete, requires alot of custom fabrication but its worth it in the end his car was a rocket, he stripped it completly of any excess weight, cost a fare bit to do aswell bud. Good luck...

Its a good idea putting a S/C in never thought of that id say hardly anything beats that Teg over ther :) Im defo gonna look into putting a Supercharger in because I havnt heard of an sir over here that has one

I think il go with just shaving as much weight as possible of her 1st and then decide what to do with the engine

How much will that cost to do? How much bhp will I gain if I do that?

Is there any other parts I can remove or change that will save some weight?

Id buy a crap standard 1.3 civic and put a 2.2 prelude engine into her and tune it to the most BHP I could get out of it, maybe a 1.0 Micra with a Skyline 2.5 GTST engine they wud be good fun at a set of lights ha

Left foot braking helps when you dont have to downshift gears when coming up to a bend in 3rd you can tap the brake with your left foot while your right foot is to the ground, Heel and Toe works much better when downshifting through corners(takes some practice to get right though)

I just bought a Civic Sir eg6 and I want 2 get the best power gains out of her, im puttin a full exhaust system on her, huge induction kit and a carbon fibre bonnet. what else would work well 2 increase BHP?

A Nissan 180sx or a Sylvia maybe both great for goin sideways really fast :)
