    206cc Roof Hydraulics

So the the roof has finally given out on my 206cc. To be honest, I only drop it to do basic maintainance so I was wondering if there would be any issues with removing the hydraulics entirely? I can drop it manually easy enough, so thats not a problem. But is there any major reason to leave the...

    Cyberpunk 206 CC

UPDATE: So I still have no idea what I'm doing, but I have made a bit of progress. Most of the headliner is now in the car (2 out of 3) and I have done a few bits of cream plastic trim in a black suede. I am aware at this point that none of this fits a Cyberpunk theme, but I really wanted a...

    Cyberpunk 206 CC

So work has begun.. kind of. I've started the strip down of the interior and giving it all a deep-clean before the design work starts. So far I'm thinking maybe a JDM style might work for this theme of car (I am aware this is car is more French then cheese and wine), but no final decisions...

    Cyberpunk 206 CC

So here I am again with another project. The last time it was a Post Apocalyptic Chrysler that exploded immediately after passing an MOT. And this time it is a 206 (That I swore I would keep nice) However, it passed an MOT and lasted more then a week... so now I'm most likely going to bugger...

    Chrysler Sebring "Atomic Gwen"

The last update on this unfortunate vehicle: Due to the issues I had with this car, it has finally been scrapped (delayed due to Lockdown) I was offered the option to have a new engine but the cost was way more then I was willing to pay. On the bright side, I did recently pick up a new car; a...

Nah, I only had a new battery and the brakes changed. it's just one of those things. I've heard of the issue before with these cars. Looks like I'm back to Motorcycles for a bit.

    Chrysler Sebring "Atomic Gwen"

Bad news on the Car. It went for an MOT last week. Paid to get some small parts repaired and everything seemed fine. Started grinding then next day, so I drove it back to the garage. On the way, the Engine Management light came on, the Oil Warning light came on and everything cut out. It...

Are magnets on oil filters a good idea?

Not sure about oil filters, but you can get them in motorcycle oil drain plugs. They catch small particles of metal so it doesn't keep going around the engine. They help when you are breaking a new engine in, or to give in indication that there is an issue.

Who has had any post licence training ?

I guess I trained myself by going out in every type of weather, including heavy snow. I also took my wife out in bad snow to teach her how to handle it when the car starts to lose control. I personally think that all car drivers should take a Motorcycle CBT to give them an idea on what it's...

    Chrysler Sebring "Atomic Gwen"

So I've taken the dash out and drilled holes for LEDs, then sprayed it up and fitted it all back. While working on this part, I also took out the stereo part of the dash, painted it up and removed the Chrysler Clock. I've replaced this with Atomic Gwens Reactor.

Sorry to hear about that, buddy. And thanks for the advice, I've just joined an American Dodge Avenger forum so I'm going to do some research on this engine and see what I can get. I will get a Build thread going soon. Might get some photos taken tomorrow as I've got to do a bit of work on it...

Thanks mate, you too. How have you been? And yeah, it's a 2007 Chrysler Sebring 2.4 VVT Limited. I've already started to lose some weight on it as its a heavy piece of American steel. So I'm trying to figure out how to get the most performance out of it, which is difficult as they never...

    Back... Again

Hey everyone, It's been a long time (5 years-ish) since I was last here, so I thought I would say hello again! I lost my passion for it all after my Celica turned out to be more rust then metal and after that I stuck to sensible small cars (VW Polo, Skoda Fabia, etc..) But recently I found a...

    1st time drivers listen up!!!

My brother in law drives around with the seat that far back that it could almost be a bed, drives with one hand on the wheel and the other holding his phone, he is trigger happy and tries to overtake every car on the road, and tailgates everything. He has been driving just over a year now and...

Definatly sounds like a scam. Best way to find out would probably be to take a copy of the email to your local council offices. They should be able to check their records and find out if it is a con.

    Popular youth cars

Up in Nottinghamshire they tend to have Pug, corsa, Saxo, Clio and Minis. Usually very heavily modified (giant bodykits and even bigger exhausts). They would sound half decent, if the noise that they make was at 120mph and not a 30mph plastic shed that is revving its nuts off just to drag its...

    engine bay cleaning

I usually use WD40 to clean my engine bay, then furniture polish on my painted components (Fuse boxes, Air box, headlamp covers, etc.) I wouldnt recommend it on certain colours though eg; tried it on my fiances car which is purple and it ended up streaky. But my car (Light bluey silver and...

    Do little cars get bullied

Yeah I know, my missus gets onto me about it. When she is in the car I drive very defensively and carefully, It's when I am on my own that I tend to drive like that. Do little cars get bullied

I think it depends on the type of driver. When people try and bully me off the road, or think they have right of way because they have a bigger car, I just put my foot down, and they end up getting out of my way. I lack the self preservation switch.

what car is a great one for a teenager that just got his g2 at 16 years old?

It looks a little sporty for a first car, you might want to take a look at hatchbacks (just my opinion though) and for the insurance companies, you can probably find them on a google search of your area or a phone directory if you have one.

Welcome to Torquecars! I'm assuming that the g2 is the probationary licence given in some Canadian states? Hey hay

If you are considering Rally, then I would suggest not to change the engine yet. You might want more power, but if you are new to it then you might end up with more than expected and inadvertantly create a car shaped hole in a hedge. I would focus more on the handling aspect and get the...
