Well... it seems rude not say hello
I am in the UK and currently have a Supra TT Auto (UK), and it is reaching the stage of needing a bit of TLC here and in addition I am researching modifications for it. So far I have recovered the seats (and I gave the upholsterer artistic licence to do what they felt was right, and the result is very nice.) and I had a Clifford G5 alarm system installed.
So - mods - well actually the next step is a thorough going over mechanically, just normal stuff to keep a car in good condition and protected etc.
Now - I received with the car with a pile of receipts a mile high - a thoroughly comprehensive history - and it turns out that owner #1 spared no expense and then owner #2 seems to have run out of money but nevertheless installed some stuff, as far as I can tell, in the dark using a hacksaw and a hammer... so I have some nasty aftermarket pillar gauges, no driver air vents and no interior lighting (a snooper thingy instead) - and I think some of the wiring was done by putting wires and solder into a cement mixer... so there is definitely a need to do some interior improvements.
Power wise - someone put in a Blitz Dual SBC controller, and set sensibly as far as I can tell, and the mechanics of that are good quality and well installed. In future I think I want to try to get to around 600 - 700 hp but I have not yet decided on the best route to that - I am sure this forum contains tonnes of info!
I need to balance between cost and benefit, as I don't have a suitcase of money under the bed, but I think that is part of the fun - it forces me to learn some stuff about my car as I choose the best path forwards
Anyway I'll stop there before this becomes a twelve-volume leather-bound set of books rather than an introductory "hello"
