Hi all. I've just joined the forum and I'm looking forward to mining the knowledge of any members who can help and put my tuppence worth in if I can help anyone.
Im not a mechanic but have had a lifelong interest in cars. Currently I have a 2011. Renault Megane cc 2.0dci GT (please don't judge me it's not my daily driver but I just like them lol).
It's had a bit of a sad life before I got it last year and is in need of some tlc.
First job is to change the front Colil springs as one is broken. Being a GT it seems regular coils are not compatible with it. Renault are looking over £100 plus vat for each compatible replacement spring.
Anyone know of any alternative options I could look at?
