would the mass air flow sensor make the emissions reading high if it was faulty on vectra 18i

possibly as it would inject more fuel if it was over reading, but the o2 sensors should have tried to compinsate.

tyr disconnecting the maf and running it

have tried running it with the maf plug disconected but was still getting emissions reading of co 0.62 has new 02 sensor new cat all pipes are clear car running fine but says its running rich but cant seem to get emissions down any more

its my brothers car thats who replied as his just joined tc now

New air filter and perhaps plugs; tank of decent fuel (no supermarket stuff) followed by a swift drive should help things along.

its had new air filter fall service end of febuary so they should be ok but can check them
