Any C20XE rebuild tips? I want to produce around 180BHP with the best torque and economy I can get. Looking for suggestions. Would love to hear from experienced C20XE builders.

Budget plays a big part. A fast road cam will give you more power top end and take your 150 to around 165/170. Add in a remap, uprated fuel pump and injectors (if you have the Motronic 2.5 - the 2.8 is much improved) and high flow exhaust headers to get the best from the cam. Opening up the ports with a 5 angle valve finish will also help get you nearer to your power goal and will improve economy and low down torque.

Don't fit an open cone filter if you want low down power the standard airbox works really well.

Supercharging and turbocharging are easy ways to make more power but cost a small fortune.
