Uniroyal rainsport 2

Never knowingly driven on them. Personally I'd gor for Continental Sport Contact 3. Conti owns Uniroyal and keeps it as a mid-range brand. Much like Sony and Aiwa.

Perhaps I'll give 'em a go then next time I need a set of tyres. I'm always willing to following quantified advice.

I also had good results with Viking's Protech II - again, made by Continental. The only problem was the fairly high wear rate.

Old thread I know, but I fitted Uniroyal RainSport 2's onto my B7 RS4 end of last year, and they are absolutely fantastic.

I must say I have never heard of this model Rob, will look into them for when my next tyre change is due, which should be about April after my track day in March. ;)

I've got them on all four corners. I paid 57.50 a corner for 205/55/16s.

Personally I think they are excellent, very, very grippy in both wet and dry.

They do seem to generate a bit more road noise at certain speeds though, that's my only criticism.
