Don't get me wrong. I have no problem with paying taxes of any kind. I have issues with the schemes (legal loopholes) available to the uber rich individuals and corporations.

Same. Depreciation is my friend as a buyer of used cars.

You save more money sticking with a car over the long term than keep trading it in.

This is a middle class/wealthy and company persons tax can't believe the working class are being drawn into defending people and companies who can afford this little bit extra on top of there salaries/allowance!
