Stealing type r parts

Iv got a mate whos breaking his type r. He said I can take what parts I want,he wont give me the engine,gearbox ecu seats etc but says I can have the manifold etc. What would you reccomend for me to take to improve performance for my car its a 1.6 vtec sprt 2004

doubt the manifold will fit as its for a different block
exhaust might well be the same from the manifold however so might be worth taking.
suspension if you can get it.

They are different, but definitely worth converting. Discs front and rear that way as well.
