Snapped Clutch Cable

So I was going to buy some petrol after I just finished work, I pulled up into the garage... I press down on my clutch and Snap!

At this point I panicked as there was a huge build up of traffic behind me waiting to use the pumps, so me and my mate decided to push it all the way round the back of the garage and back into my works car park, where we had to wait for 2 hours for the recovery lorry to take my car home.

This sucks! What am I going to do while I wait for my car to be fixed?! I'm actually going to have to walk to places!

Was fun getting towed onto the lorry though :cheesy:

I'v had clutch failures on many ocasions, but always managed to drive home, all you have to do is match the engine revs to the gearbox revs. to start the car off jest put the car in first and turn the starter.

Bad luck Mousie. That is a shame. Is it the cable or the plastic retainer that went?

Bad luck there MK. I managed a few hundred miles with a bad clutch. Have you got it fixed yet?
