shocks on the back axel ofa 306 can it be done ?

It already has rear shocks? Do you mean springs to lower the ride height, if so, then it uses torsion bars to adjust ride height, but unless you are a master fabricator, you'll need to swap the intire rear axcel for something that uses dampers and springs.

I don't mate, sorry. Best is to get a new beam from a GTI6 model, take the old beam off and brake lines out, and handbrake lines, and swap over for a gti6 one. more or less a straight swap, minus the handbreak cables, you'll need to swap them over too with the gti6 ones.

Trying to fabricate a completely different beam is a waste of time in all honestly. The gti6 rear beams are perfectly fine and very durable, although, still using torsion bars, they are much stiffer. There are plently of guides on a rear beam swap.
