been thinking recently about gettin a remote turbo (or 2) fitted to exhaust system on mi 197, are they worth it? what would thery cost? what would my power gains be like???

Power gains without rebuilding the engine to run higher boost pressure wouldn't be massive tbh. I'd imagine the 197 motor runs quite high compression too.

Personally if I were you, (although in my case I have an endless budget when it comes to modifying) I'd keep something like the 197 N/A and get her on standalone and throttle bodies. Keep all that N/A character and power and pin-sharp throttle response. You're only looking at a couple of grand or three. My mate has a 172 on throttle bodies and an exhaust (nothing else)....204bhp. I'm not easily impressed but it's fooking quick.
