Be sure....IF you think Nitros is some kind of "Magic"....think again 1
There is so many PROPER things mechanically that should be done first....
My 40+ years as an engine builder ....I have learned a trick....or2.
The big thing with Nitros ...among others is the Camshaft
You Need one with a LONGER exhaust opening time to get the complete "charge"out of the cylinder.
Go into Competition Cams....check out for lets say ..."small block"Chevys....how many different Nitros cams are offered just for this model
IF in doubt....call up their "tech"line....tell them what you are up to.....
Also...Be SURE you have perfect bores, rings bearings....etc...or be sure of a Massive explosion !!

Agreed. My friend's 351 Cleveland V8 in his Ford Pop was built for nitrous, including a nitrous cam. The main problem with these cams, however, is they need nitorus to work properly so are not a good choice for road cars where gas isn't used very often.

However, nitrous works pretty well using standard cam profiles so, unless you are building a serious track/strip car it is probably best to stick with these.
