New Guy here.. Twin 40s or twin 45s?????

Hi everyone first time on here, so I thought I'd say hello I'm looking at buying a 2L 8v engine and graduly rebuild it, to then drop it into an astra mk3(stripped out sleeper) :wink: .. And I was wondering can I use twin 40 carbs or do I need to use twin 45s?? Will it make much difference plus, I'm assuming I'll need side draft carbs(not downdraft)?? Any other pointers on what carbs to use will be very very welcome Thanks in advance, Bigman..

Hi Bigman and welcome to the site - I guess you're not really into fuel economy! Personally I would go for something like the Mangoletsi Inlet Manifold with Twin Sidedraught 45 for your engine - it'll really roar. I love the sleeper concept and your on to a winning set up here! :wink:
